Today we are living in the ultra-paced digital world. Electronic devises are becoming smaller and sophisticated. Using a laptop during a lecture might look unrealistic before 10 years. But nowadays after introduction of smart phones and tablets, carrying a laptop, oh it’s not much cool.
As I am a tablet user I think it will suitable if I discuss a good and bad example from android applications. The application with good user centered design is Opera Mini. If you are using desktop PC or a laptop most people go for Google Chrome for it user friendliness. But Chrome yet to fit best in smaller screens. The first reason for choosing the Opera Mini is it is a freeware.
And also Opera mini deliver the first class experience to the tablets. It is clean, simple and user friendly. It also the users to view the full page view rather than mobile view which is enabled in many other browsers. The other user centered benefits are extra boost of internet speed, speed dial facility, synchronize social sites such as twitter and Facebook-so getting notifications without visiting those sites, multitasking with tabs, pinch to zoom, download manager, maintaining history and saving whole pages for offline reading. Along with these features it uses only 10% of data; this makes the opera Mini unparalleled to any browser in the Industry.

Everyone is using Facebook. It is so user friendly. But I never say that android version of Facebook is user friendly. It is an utter waste. Although Facebook Android app has undoubtedly improved over recent months, it used to lack support for messaging, chat and even photo-viewing. It still has problems. Aside from the stability issues mentioned above, the app provides no way to edit a profile, delete a wall post or tag a photo. I think quoting some comments from Google Play will clarify the thing clearly.

Poorly implemented app
Content is always slow to load or doesn't load at all. Seems to update as and when it likes, and I have to force close sometimes to get it to work but doesn't work all the time.. Same issues persist regardless of using WIFI or 3G.
